Our first post. The lamp is lit.
Every good story starts somewhere quiet.

For Lit Wick Press, it started in a recliner in Adelaide, South Australia, with an iPad, a cup of tea that went cold, and eight small crochet animals who had been living in my head for longer than I’d like to admit.
My name is Claudia Weaver. I write children’s books — picture books and collected stories — for children who feel things deeply. And for the adults in the room who recognise themselves in the pages.
The first series is called Snugglekins.
Eight characters. Eight things they carry. One small warm village called Cozy Hollow, where the door is always open, and the kettle is always on, and the signs on the walls say:
Safe. Loved. Heard. Enough.
