Somewhere in Cozy Hollow, a lamp is always lit.
The door is open. The kettle is on. There is something warm waiting for whoever needs it — and nobody will ask how you are until you’re ready to say.
Lit Wick Press was founded by Claudia Weaver, a late-diagnosed neurodivergent author who spent a lifetime looking for certain kinds of stories. Stories where the anxious character doesn’t get better. Where being different isn’t a superpower. Where the sensitive child isn’t fixed — just seen, and held, and not required to become something easier.
She eventually had to write the characters she was looking for.
Our first series — Snugglekins — follows eight crochet animal characters, each carrying something real: anxiety, masking, the exhaustion of always being the helpful one, the fear of being truly seen. Written for children and the adults reading to them simultaneously.
Because some stories need to work for both people in the room.
If you have ever felt unsafe, unloved, unheard, or not enough — just for being yourself — these books are written for you.
Safe. Loved. Heard. Enough.
These are the words on the walls of Cozy Hollow. They are not promises or conditions. They are simply true — whether or not anyone has said them to you before.
Consider them said.

About Claudia Weaver
Claudia Weaver writes picture books and collected stories for children who feel things deeply.
She is the author of the Snugglekins series, published by Lit Wick Press. She is also, slowly and with great humility, learning to illustrate them herself.
She lives in Adelaide, South Australia, with a recliner, a heater, an iPad, and more unfinished cups of tea than she would like to admit.
